Ubicare

UbiCare is a digital health company that helps hospitals and health systems stay connected with patients through its SmarteXp platform. They deliver evidence-based, education and messaging that improves engagement and reduces the burden on clinical staff. My work with them focused on translating complex health information into clear, supportive content for both new parents and clinical staff.

I revamped, revised, and produced brand new content for two distinct messaging series that educate patients and hospital staff with evidence-based content that supports the recommendations of the U.S. Breastfeeding Committee, World Health Organization, Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Specifically, I wrote weekly patient-focused breastfeeding content from week 35 of pregnancy until the end of the first year of life, geared towards millennial parents, including 40+ standalone articles on topics like latch, teething while breastfeeding, diet while breastfeeding, and more. I also revised weekly breastfeeding-focused emails for hospital staff.

Specific samples of these projects available on request.
